    I have more fat in my midsection, is there a way to see that I’m doing this practice correctly? Like I can feel my core working, but I’m not sure if the proper movements are going through, if that makes sense, because of the fat.

    To many males have lower back pains, the pelvic has no feelings... Thus you will feel it in the lower back if there are any problems. Pelvic problems are very common in sport, it is the weakest link.

    Chalk is poisonous to the lungs hence why not all gyms accept it. On the other hand you do got exactly the same effect with baby powder made from cornstarch.

    just like many others, i'm coming back to comment now after doing my first pull up! saw this video at the start of may, perfect timing. my birthday is at the start of july and i was thinking to achieve this before my 30th. i just did 1 last night! That was 1.5 months, i did this negative pull ups twice almost every other day with increase in timing as recommended. just a short 5-10mins as a drop by the fitness corner downstairs on my way home. on some days i add in a few reps of scalp pull ups, inclined pull ups, and/or hollow body holds. i am now holding 30+ to 40s of negative. (:

    My wife and I spent a few months with another pull-up program (band heavy), and while I won't say we weren't making some progress, it was slow. We watched this (we've gotten good advice from you on other things), and three weeks in, I've got my first ever pull-up (45 y/o). Thanks a bunch!!

    Great interview, remember seeing a documentary about steroids maybe 20 years ago. A professor interviewed many top athletes, bodybuilders…weightlifting. His question was would you take steroids to achieve your pro suit for greatness, even if it killed you in 5 or 10 years? Overwhelming most answered Yes. So very thoughtful interview, but people are gonna do what they do.

    I keep getting back pain from deadlifting DESPITE watching a lot of videos on bracing and feeling like my spine is neutral. That Valsalva manoeuvre tip is not something I've come across before and already I feel the pressure in my abdomen. I'll try it when I am next in the gym :)
